Proficiency Level: Beginner to intermediate. Applicable for anyone who wants to learn more about what’s happening during the art of taqasim and go deeper into practical improvisation.

How?

Taqasim can be complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. 

We’ll use taqasim templates. This is like a lead sheet for a taqasim that tells you where to go and what to do.

We’ll use simple, and beautiful melodies to map a trajectory and form of a taqasim.

We’ll use the language of metaphor to learn how we begin, develop, and conclude melody. 

How to enroll:

• Your will be sent an email with instructions to register an account and claim your order.
• Once you register and claim your order, you will see the course titled, "Taqasim Workshop 2" in your account dashboard.
• Open the course, find the Zoom registration link that corresponds to your time zone, and click to register.
• You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, a Zoom meeting link, and a passcode to enter the Zoom meeting.
